Below are the official rules and information for the 1st Utah Challenge Tournament to be held on August 7th-9th (attached). Please spread this information to all of the Utah Youth that you know!!!!
I would like to thank the Utah State USBC for sponsoring the tournament and adding scholarship funds. I would also like to thank Ben Lomond Lanes, Bonwood Bowl, Valley Lanes and Miracle Bowl for allowing us to hold this event at their centers.
A couple housekeeping items: All USBC cards will expire on 7/31/20. You will need to have a new card. The youth may purchase a national card at the tournament for $4.00. Any association fees will then be collected at the time you sign up for fall leagues.
It is highly recommended that if you are planning to participate in other Junior Gold qualifiers that you purchase a Junior Gold Membership at this time. It can be purchased online or at the tournament. The cost is $30 for the U15-U20 age groups and $10 for U12. If the bowler does not have a current membership, wins the qualifying spot and intends to go to Indianapolis, they will be required to purchase a Junior Gold Membership prior to submission of their name as an advancer.
